Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Biscuit is an app screenshot maker for creating App Store and Google Play screenshots. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Biscuit.
For privacy questions, contact us at support@meetbiscuit.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following information depending on how you use Biscuit:
- Account information: User id, email address, display name, and profile image provided through Clerk when you sign in.
- Project data: Project names, captions, editor settings, device selections, colors, layout choices, and saved screen data.
- Uploaded assets: Screenshots and related files you upload so Biscuit can save, preview, and export your projects.
- Technical data: Basic request, device, and usage information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the product.
- Billing data: When you purchase a pass (1-Week or 1-Year), we store your plan type, expiry date, and payment identifiers from our payment provider (Polar). Biscuit does not store full payment card numbers.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Biscuit editor.
- To authenticate accounts and keep saved projects available across sessions.
- To upload, store, preview, and export screenshot projects.
- To debug errors, improve performance, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- To manage pass access and verify your plan status.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help Biscuit run:
- Clerk for authentication and account management.
- Neon for database storage.
- Cloudflare R2 for uploaded screenshot asset storage.
- Vercel for hosting, deployment infrastructure, and privacy-preserving analytics. Vercel Analytics is cookieless by design — no personal data is collected and no cross-site tracking occurs.
- Polar for payment processing when purchasing a pass.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep account, project, and uploaded asset data while it is needed to provide Biscuit. You can delete individual projects from the editor, or delete your entire account from the account menu.
When you delete your account, all your data — including projects, screens, and uploaded screenshots — is permanently removed. For any other data requests, contact support@meetbiscuit.com.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but Biscuit is designed to limit access to your information and protect saved projects.
7. Children
Biscuit is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Biscuit changes. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date on this page.
